• Estate auctions. You can usually find these advertised in your local newspaper. Also check your local yellow pages for auctioneers to find out about upcoming auctions. Sometimes auctions are a great place to find great antique furniture at reasonable prices.
• Goodwill or a second-hand store.
• Yard sales and garage sales. Larger garage and yard sales are usually advertised in the newspaper so you can find them there (be early because it’s first come first serve!).
• Local antique stores (if you don’t mind paying a lot more).
• Ebay. But be wary of who you are purchasing from. Make sure they have a great rating with many satisfied customers!
